More fun with Seniors and their pets. :)
Philippines Humanitarian
We had an amazing time on our first international trip, partnering with Philippines Humanitarian! This organization helps kids get sponsors so that they can go to school. In the town of Payatas, where they live, most people only have work digging through dump sites full of trash. Without an education, these children would face that same future. Philippines Humanitarian also has a food program that feeds these children a meal a day. We were able to go over and take family photos for the families that they help. On top of that we took photos for their organization that they could use to advertise their wonderful organization and raise awareness about this cause.
Some of the family portraits!
Centro Hispano
We had another wonderful time at our annual event with Centro Hispano!
Senior Centers, Utah
Within two weeks of each other, we held three events at different housing units for low income seniors. It was a wonderful time! We got to talk to them, get to know them, joke together, love on their pets, and hear their stories and advice on life.
These photos are just several from over a hundred clients from the three different days. We traveled to Ogden, West Valley, and Salt Lake City for these events.
Centro Hispano- Annual Family Portrait Event
On November 3rd, 2018, we had an amazing day of photographing families in need in partnership with Centro Hispano. We had a nice large space donated for our use at the Springville Utah Library, and we are so thankful to them for that! We are also so thankful to Persnickity Prints in Orem Utah for their donation of the 8x10 prints to each family!
People Helping People- June 21st, 2018
People Helping People is a great organization that we had the privilege of partnering with. They help single mothers in a myriad of ways, and on this day they wanted us to help them help give these deserving women and their children the gift of family photos.
Head Start- April 25th, SLC
Head Start is a wonderful organization and they were wonderful to partner with. The families were so grateful and, as always, the photographers and other volunteers were rock stars! Look at these families, their moments, and the important gift that was given this day.

Children Service Society Event- March 17th
It was a snowy St. Patrick's day but we had a wonderful event indoors providing free family photos for those that are served by the Children's Service Society! So many cute kids!
Legacy Home, Senior Living Center, February 2018
We started out the new year with an extra special event photographing the residents at a senior living home. Many of these people had never had professional portraits taken in their whole lives, or if they had, it was a only once, many years ago.
We also had a great time hearing their stories and advice. One couple said, "Too many young couples are giving up on their marriages when things get hard, but they don't know that it will only get better if you keep going!"
One couple stood at the end of their session and the photographer asked if they needed help getting to their walkers, to which the wife replied, "No, we'll just hold onto each other."
One woman, who is 99 years old (!) told us all about her morning exercises and showed us her kicks! She also brought in she chubby, mellow dog for the photos as well.
Afterwards, we all expressed how important this work felt and that we needed to go to every senior center we can to document these important people in the twilight of their lives.
It was a wonderful day and we're grateful to our volunteer photographers for all of their hard work!
Salt Lake City Event, With Utah Housing Authority
On November 4th we had a full, active morning photographing families in Salt Lake City.
